How Our Alumni Make a Difference
Our camp has been and continues to be shaped by our alumni. The contributions and volunteer work provided by the alumni are a big part of keeping camp strong and fun!
Alumni Family Camp
Sharing camp with your family is a great way to relieve fond memories and help your family create their own lifelong memories at camp. Every 5 years we invite the alumni back to camp to celebrate camp’s success, reconnect with friends and enjoy camp as a family. Plan on YMCA Camp Potawotami as your 2025 Labor Day Weekend destination. More information is posted below.

Celebrate 105 Years of Potawatomi!

Labor Day Weekend
Join us in celebrating 105 awesome years of Camp! Reconnect with old friends and relieve camp memories! Camp has been important to so many of us. Let loose and enjoy Camp again by staying in the cabins or bringing your own RV/ tent. Check in begins on Friday evening and goes through Saturday with check out Monday morning. Saturday and Sunday day passes are available as well.
As we celebrate Camp's past and present we will also be looking to the future. On Saturday evening the Alumni Committee will host an Auction to increase our fun and raise funds for Camp! Be sure to bring something to donate to the auction and be prepare to bid for at awesome goods! Auction items can be physical items and services. Some ideas include artwork, crafts, books, etc. Service ideas might include writing a song, teaching skill/ language, baked goods, etc.
Rates vary based on the lodging. Stay the weekend with us and enjoy seven meals, daily snack, camp activities, access to the property and lodging. See Camp through the years with our historical displays!
Camp provides all necessary equipment for camp activities. There are no additional fees for the weekend’s activities or meals. The camp store will be open throughout the weekend if you would like choose to purchase Camp swag.
Day Passes and Activity Passes are also available! Day pass includes 2 meals and property access. Day Pass is available for Saturday or Sunday. Activity pass includes property access, 2 meals and all activities. Activity Pass is available for Saturday or Sunday.
